| Memorial Day in Sneads Ferry 2008 Sneads Ferry will celebrate its 4th Annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony of Remembrance on May 28 starting at 10 a.m. The community effort is being sponsored by VFW Post 9983, the Sneads Ferry Rotary Club, the Sneads Ferry Community Council and local businesses. The day will honor all who have served in the armed forces as well as community first responders Glynn Queen will lead the heartfelt salute to the nations’ warriors during the ceremony.
